Since 2005, Two Dollar Radio has published books that have been honored by the National Book Foundation, finalists for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, picked as "Editors' Choice" selections by The New York Times Book Review, and made year-end best-of lists at O, The Oprah Magazine, National Public Radio (NPR), Slate, Salon, The Believer, and others.
When we decided to expand our operation out of our living room and into a community-focused bookstore, we knew we wanted to not only take the opportunity to show off our Two Dollar Radio books, but to showcase the other stellar independent presses around the country as well.
In our indie bookshop, you'll find a selection of highly curated books and journals published almost exclusively by indie presses. Because we think they each deserve it, you'll find each book forward-facing and easy to find and peruse.
